Euro Paper Talk: Chelsea wait on €50m double deal; Liverpool linked with €80m pair

Liverpool have learned the price they must pay for a Serie A duo, while Chelsea have won the race for a Roma defender, according to Sunday’s European papers.
CHELSEA STRIKE FULL-BACK AGREEMENT According to Tancredi Palmieri, AS Roma and Chelsea have reached an agreement for defender and reported Liverpool target Emerson Palmieri.

The deal for Palmieri is done, the report claims, but the only detail waiting to be finalised is if striker Edin Dzeko will be included as a double deal.

Roma reportedly want an extra €40-45million for the Bosnian international, but the Blues are only willing to spend €30m.

Both players are set to feature on Sunday night as Eusebio di Francesco’s side face the trip to Inter Milan.

Liverpool have been told that they must pay €80million if they want to sign a Cagliari duo, according to a report.

Mourinho all but confirms Sanchez will be joining Man United

Jose Mourinho says he has “no confirmation” about Alexis Sanchez’s potential move from Manchester United to Arsenal but admits he thinks “he is coming”.
The Red Devils boss was speaking to the media following his side’s 1-0 victory over Burnley with a week full of speculation that the Chilean is set to transfer to Old Trafford with Henrikh Mkhitaryan understood to be going in the other direction.

Messi demands Barcelona star never plays for club again after shock loss

Lionel Messi has reportedly demanded that one player is axed after Barcelona suffered their first defeat of the season against Espanyol on Wednesday night.
Barca boss Ernesto Valverde played a virtually full-strength team as his side travelled to local rivals Espanyol for their Copa day Rey quarter-final first-leg clash.

But despite dominating possession, having plenty of chances and Messi himself missing a penalty, Barca suffered a 1-0 defeat as Espanyol struck with three minutes to go.

Messi was said to be furious with the loss and Diario Gol reports that he demanded that Aleix Vidal never plays for the club again.

Handed a rare opportunity to shine, Vidal’s struggles reportedly infuriated Messi as the Spaniard failed to link-up successfully with his team-mates on a bad night for the Catalan giants.

The report goes onto state that Valverde will now look to move Vidal on after also being unimpressed with the 28-year-old’s display.

Euro Paper Talk: Talks for €30m Liverpool, Chelsea target; Ronaldo’s £65m return

The agent of a Liverpool and Chelsea target has admitted a move is very likely, while Man Utd are eyeing a £65m follow up to Alexis Sanchez, according to Thursday’s European papers. 
AGENT OF CHELSEA, LIVERPOOL TARGET CONFIRMS TALKS The agent of reported Chelsea and Liverpool target Emerson Palmieri has confirmed that the Blues have made an offer to sign the Brazilian.

Yesterday, Italian outlet reported that Chelsea had placed bid for the right-back.

​Current champions Juventus reportedly came close to signing Emerson last summer, but the deal collapsed when he picked up a knee injury in May.

Roma are expected to demand a fee of around €25/30million in order to meet their own aims of staying within Financial Fair Play parameters.

Man United source warns that Sanchez transfer could turn ugly

Henrikh Mkhitaryan could transform into a substitute if Manchester United's potential arrangement for Alexis Sanchez fails to work out, as per a club source.
